Belonging to a middle-class family at Munjaba
Vasti, Pune always questioned Neeta Avinash Bhosle on how to strengthen their
financial condition. She stays with her husband, and their two children, and
leads a quite ordinary life. For livelihood, Bhosle’s husband works as a driver
which helps them earn a limited amount of profit. Nevertheless, she is a
passionate woman who was determined toward her goal. She considered the Fashion
Design training of the GTT Foundation a great opportunity for her as well as
her family.
Neeta completed
her training and attained the knowledge of stitching very efficiently. She
gradually started stitching clothes and earning money. Though she does not have
a sewing machine yet, she uses her friend’s machine who stays nearby and
completes all the stitching work. Bhosle confronts that the initiative by the
GTT Foundation has not only provided an opportunity to learn sewing and
stitching professionally but also helped her to be confident and bring about a
positive change in her life.
