Belonging to a
middle-class family, Rajlaxmi Jagtap always found herself loaded with
responsibility. She got married at a very young age however, difficulties
didn’t leave her alone after marriage. Jagtap’s husband often used to fall sick
due to which the financial state of the family was unstable. The couple has a
child whose education was also threatened by the financial crisis. Under such
circumstances, Rajlaxmi wanted to back the family financially. Her interest in
cooking led her to start a minor tiffin service business. Over time, her small
venture gained prominence and hence expanded. She has been able to take full
responsibility for her child in terms of education and other amenities. Jagtap
completed her training at the GTT Foundation and became a successful Udyogini.
