Jyoti couldn’t pursue higher education after the 10^th standard due to family responsibilities. She resides in Yerwada with her joint family of 11 members. But the number of breadwinners is less in the family. So, she wanted to support her family, however, never really got a chance to do so. Jyoti’s husband works as a peon in a school and doesn’t earn much.

So, she didn’t waste time after getting the information about free stitching classes from the GTT Foundation and RBL bank. After completing the classes, she stitches clothes and earns up to 2000 rupees per month.

Jyoti is also interested in woolen and macramé crafts and wants to learn them to expand her business
