Kanchan Yuvraj Pawale is a smart and hardworking woman
who dreams to become a successful personality. She completed her graduation and
possesses good communication abilities. However, due to family
responsibilities, Pawale couldn’t get a secured job. She works as a LIC agent
but it’s a part-time job. Her husband is an engineer who works at a private
firm. Kanchan’s interest in sewing grew when she saw her mother stitch for
years.
Hence, when got the information about the free fashion
design training by the GTT Foundation in association with RBL Bank, Pawale immediately
joined to learn new skills. She expresses, “I received professional training in
the Fashion Design Class. Though I had a minimal idea about stitching and sewing
yet it was not enough to professionally work. The training by the GTT
Foundation helped me to fix the minor shortcomings in my work and allowed me to
provide a standard finishing to whatever I stitch. Now I have the confidence
that I can skillfully stitch good dresses out of any material.”
Pawale has been an attentive learner in the classes and has received her first payment of 200 rupees for stitching a dress while attending the classes. She wants to work hard and earn profit from sewing and stitching to support her family.
