Isha Barathe has
been facing mental issues since her childhood. She is a very slow learner and
finds it difficult to understand things easily. Due to this reason, she had to
stop studying after 7th standard. Isha lives with her mother and
sister. Her father, unfortunately, passed away a few years back putting the
family in poverty. Her mother works as a housekeeper in other houses and
somehow manages the family finances.
Isha’s aunt
suggested her to get enrolled in the Fashion Design Course by the GTT
Foundation and learn stitching at a professional level. She joined the classes
and attained sewing knowledge. Isha now manages to earn 200-300 rupees per
stitched piece which is a great support to her family.
