Urmila Narasingh Kapse has seven members in her family including her parents-in-law, brother-in-law, her husband, and their two daughters. The family regularly encounters difficulties due to their unstable financial condition. Urmila joined the doormat-making training by the GTT Foundation to get a chance to earn and back her family. Though she knew making doormats yet she attended the training for upgraded knowledge. She completed the training and successfully running a business of doormats currently. Customers are willing to buy her products for 100 to 150 rupees. This has provided a boost to Urmila in her initial days in business.

Urmila says, “GTT Foundation trained me and my fellow candidates quite well. After the training, I started making products and selling them. I sold 10 to 12 pieces last month gaining a profit of around 1200 rupees. My business is growing gradually and I am able to support my family. I want to grow as a businesswoman in the coming days. I got the confidence of running a business from the free training and for this, I am grateful to the GTT Foundation.”
