Avantika’s husband works in a private company. The couple has two kids and they harmoniously reside in Mumbai. Avantika has been getting immense support from her family throughout her career. She worked in a tailoring shop beforehand and backed her husband financially where she used to stitch fancy dresses for school events and also particular dresses for Krishna and Shivaji. But the shop and tailoring business stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bhambre had to do something for which she joined the Fashion Design course of the GTT Foundation. The training made Bhambre capable enough to start her own venture. Currently, she sews sarees, particularly navrai sarees.

Avantika states “The pandemic era was a hard time for our family as my husband’s as well as my own work were stopped. But the Fashion Design Training helped me to manage everything along with work.”
